Welcome to

St. Paul’s Indian Orthodox Church,   Albany NY

Our Mission and Vision

We are a worshiping community and most of our activities are centered around the Act of worship

in the Holy Qurbana(Eucharist). Besides this, we also have other Get-Together, prayer meetings

and several other programs through out the year.

But most importantly, this parish community in the land of Albany, exists as part of the larger Indian Orthodox Church as a living testament of the love of God. We aspire to be living examples of that love in our words, thoughts and deeds, even though we fall horribly short many times. Seen in this context, the parish welcomes every one to be fellow participants in the love and joy we experience in Christ. The purpose of our existence in this land is to reach out to the broken hearted, to pray for the sick, to comfort the depressed and to be the Living Body of Christ in the land and thus sanctify the whole land. Even though we have several short comings and limitations, we continuously submit ourselves to the grace and mercy of our Savior to help us to reach there, to be examples of Christ for those around us, to teach and grow our children that way. Please do pray for us and along with us in this endeavor.
